Chief Financial Officer

nnOur $40M non-profit client near downtown LA is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

This organization supports low-income families and boasts great benefits, little to no overtime and offers a multitude of programs supporting the greater LA community.

Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a finance leader in a 501(c)(3) non-profit setting.nn nn nn nn Responsibilities nn Oversee all financial reporting systems in the production of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and Office of Management and Budget audit requirements.

Direct all financial transactions and related accounting activities for the Association’s Finance Departments, maintaining internal control safeguards and appropriate classifications for income and expenses.

Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics, both internally and externally.

Provide fiscal and budget information required by new and continuing grant applications, and for the preparation of all periodic financial reports as required by funding sources.

Manage cash flow and forecasting.

Responsible for general ledger system maintenance and enhancements.

Directs the development of all necessary reports and work associated with the annual audit by outside independent certified public accountants.

Submits narrative and customized fiscal reports to the President/CEO nn n nn nn Qualifications nn B.A.

in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.

At least five years accounting/finance experience working in a non-profit 50 I c3 organization.

Must be computer literate with latest software.

Three years supervisory experience.
