COMPANY:
Our client is a leader in luxury home furniture and decor design and manufacturing. They have a rich history, positive reputation and growing footprint. They are looking to bring on a hands-on Controller to manage the accounting and finance functions.
CONTROLLER ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report directly to the President and act as a key member of the Management Team
- Direct the general and cost accounting, generate monthly accounting reports and maintain tax reporting
- Review, analyze and prepare timely financial data, management reports and financial statements to investors and financial institutions.
- Manage the routine accounting including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, cash management, general ledger, and tax submissions,
WHAT THE COMPANY NEEDS IN A CONTROLLER:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA/CMA highly preferred
- 4+ years of Cost accounting and inventory control
- Experience in manufacturing required;
- Good working knowledge of ERP systems and database management; Must be strong in Microsoft Excel
