Our client is seeking an accounting associate to join their Downtown Los Angeles office.

This is a well-established athletic/social club in LA.

They are seeking an experienced, skilled, responsible professional to report to their accounting manager.

This is a temporary assignment that could last a few weeks.

The hours for this position would be Monday –Friday, 8am 5pm.

About the role: Fulfill accounting duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager, including Accounts Payable invoice coding, scanning, and data entry Verifying Accounts Payable documents Scanning invoices in A/P workflow Reconciling merchandise packing slips with invoices received Creating planned payment reports Meeting A/P deadlines Assuring invoice accuracy and resolving any discrepancies Researching/assisting A/P issues from other departments Handling some phone reception duties Consolidating and transferring of records for archiving Corresponding with staff, members, and vendors via email, letter, memo and in-person Other duties as assignedJob Requirements:About the candidate: 2+ years’ of experience in Accounts Payable (MUST) Sufficient computer skills to input data and use programs such as Windows, Excel, Word.

(MUST) Desired personality traits and skills: Courteous, professional, business-like demeanor and presentation, have sufficient organizational skills to adhere to deadlines and maintain functional audit trail and have the ability to receive constructive feedback and perform duties as assigned.
