How you will make an impact
– Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
– Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
– Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
– Arrange quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
– Ad-hoc projects as necessary
– Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
– Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
– Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
– Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts Job Requirements:
– Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
– Self-starter and strong ethical standards
– Oracle experience desired
– Expertise in Microsoft Great Plains Accounting
– Analytical Reasoning experience preferred
– Proficiency in Actual Variance Analysis
– Adeptness in month end closings
– Experience with Analytical Skills
– Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
– Detailed and have the ability work independently
– A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
– Experience with ERP systems
– Ability to meet deadlines
– BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
– Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
– Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
