Bankruptcy Paralegal (Part Time, REMOTE or HYBRID)
QUAD is seeking a part-time, REMOTE or HYBRID Bankruptcy Paralegal for a firm located in Cinnaminson, NJ.
Flexible schedule; 15-20 hours per week.
Can be 100% REMOTE or HYBRID.
The Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys throughout all phases of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 cases and appeals.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with bankruptcy electronic filings preparation and handling
- Crafting retention and fee applications and statements
- Reviewing and filing legal documents and correspondence
- Utilizing Best Case software to prepare and file statements, schedules, and petitions
- Regularly monitoring case dockets and distributing filings
- Maintaining files and calendars
Skills/Competencies:
- Highly experienced with filing electronic pleadings (ECF/CM) in district/bankruptcy courts
- Advanced knowledge of bankruptcy service agreements
- Ability to remain up to date on both local (District of New Jersey) and federal bankruptcy rules
- Familiarity of Claims and Noticing Agent websites, chapter 7 and 11 filing procedures, and appeals process
- Microsoft Office and Best Case software proficiency
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
