JOB SUMMARY

This professional will assist with the operations of CBRE Investment Management’s Americas Direct Real Estate business segment. This professional will report to the General Counsel and Head of Operations – Americas Direct Real Estate. The position will be located in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas or Boston. By necessity, a strong and close working relationship will exist between the candidate and the senior management of the business. The professional will be involved in a wide variety of projects, workstreams and ad hoc assignments, working with all parts and levels of the firm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting senior management in all aspects of the operation of the Americas Direct Real Estate business

Coordinating across different areas of the business to improve workflow design and processes

Assisting with aspects of the financial budget and forecast

Collaborating with Digital & Technology to identify solution gaps and implement projects across the firm to drive successful adoption and implementation

Contributing to ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives

Assisting the Direct Real Estate and People teams with recruitment, hiring, retention and training priorities

Being an ambassador for the CBRE IM way of working and actively promote the availability of the processes already in place

Partnering with other business segments across CBRE Investment Management to drive efficiency and global consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

This professional should have at least 5 years of professional experience

Operations, accounting, consulting, project management (RE technology related) or investment management background a plus

Top academic credentials.

The successful candidate will be a practical-minded professional who is a team player, enthusiastic, energetic, organized, detail-oriented, pro-active, responsive, service-driven and eager to learn and develop in this newly-created role.

The successful candidate needs to be able to build strong personal relationships with management, have a “can do” attitude and be able to work to meet short deadlines when required.

The successful candidate will work independently with limited guidance at times, identify problems, propose solutions and contribute to process improvements.
