The primary objective of the role is to ensure all entities are compliant from a statutory and reporting perspective within the specified deadlines, can add value to the business from a leadership perspective and sustain strong relationships with the Senior Leadership Stakeholders, Finance and other parts of the Regional business.
You will be responsible for balance sheet integrity, supporting key financial processes including month end close; reporting and forecasting for capex and cash flow; statutory financial reporting and managing external audit relationships. Compliance and control on processes, policies and audit to ensure internal and external governance are managed.

Job Details
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
Assess current practices and procedures, internal software systems, and make recommendations for improvements to engineering and product development
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
Perform ad hoc financial analysis, for financial projections and projects as requested
When necessary, work with CEO and managers to develop budgets and financial models for the company
Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or significantly similar focus.
CPA or MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with a significant portion of it being in a supervisory role
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
Microsoft Excel skills.
