We currently service Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego with big plans for further expansion.(br((br((strong(About This Role(br((br((/strong(We are looking for an Accounting Manager to own the general ledger accounting and month end close process within a fast paced and quickly evolving company.

Like a speedboat, we are nimble, move fast, innovate and invent processes when needed to support the growth of the business.

You will ensure our AP, AR, Fixed Asset, Credit Card and Cash functions are well maintained as we continue to scale the business.

Experience with lease accounting is highly desirable but not required.

You will coordinate the monthly and quarterly close processes across the locations.

You will also participate in and lead cross-functional process improvement and special projects.(br((br(The role will work directly with the CEO and has a high level of visibility to the business and department leads.

In this role, you will have the chance to learn and directly impact a variety of operations, as well as implement process improvements and drive change in a diverse business environment.

We offer competitive salaries with top notch benefits and perks.(br((br(Responsibilities:(br((ul((li(Manage general accounting function by preparing journal entries, reconciliations and full-cycle of month end close process including preparation of flux analyses (/li((li(Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financials statements and ensure timely and accurate reporting(/li((li(Ability to manipulate and code large data sets into proper expense classification using Excel formulas(/li((li(Lead, initiate and participate in process, control, and financial reporting improvement projects(/li((li(Administer the company credit card portal by setting up budgets, monitoring spend and coding transactions(/li((li(Process invoice payments in bill.com and prepare wire transfers as needed(/li((li(Develop relationships and work closely with the Head of Strategic Finance/Controller and business partners in order to provide accounting, financial reporting and business support(/li((li(Provide reporting to parent company including monthly financial statements and tax deliverables(/li((li(Ability to communicate effectively with parent company accounting team to determine US GAAP guidance treatment(/li((li(Support launches of new location activities impacting the accounting organization by developing strategic solutions and partnering with key project stakeholders on execution.(br((br((/li((/ul(Who You Are:(br((ul((li(You are relentless.

You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and work at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and big picture(br((br((/li((/ul(Minimum Qualifications:(br((ul((li(6+ years accounting experience, CPA required(/li((li(Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or Business(/li((li(Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements(/li((li(Proficient with standard accounting software and in Excel with data manipulation familiarity(/li((li(Month-end close experience(/li((li(Experience developing and maintaining proper internal controls(/li((li(Familiarity with general tax compliance and payroll requirements(/li((li(Attention to detail resulting in consistent, reliable and accurate work product(/li((li(Excellent written and oral communication skills(/li((li(Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize(/li((li(Proven analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated understanding of accounting cycles(/li((li(Strong interpersonal skills to work well in teams or groups, formally and informally(/li((li(Ability to identify and implement process improvements, as well as being proactive about creating opportunities for improvement(/li((li(Experience in a multi-entity (intercompany) environment(br((br((/li((/ul(Preferred Qualifications & Prior Experience:(br((ul((li(Lease Accounting a plus(/li((li(Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP and bill.com(/li((li(Experience with Divvy a plus(/li((li(Experience working with a fast-paced, start-up or multi-location company(/li((li(Self-motivated and self-managed
