The IT Program Manager – Data & Analytics is responsible for planning and managing multiple projects/initiatives across Data & Analytics Platform.

We are looking for a team player who has experience managing, planning and coordinating interrelated work in a way that emphasizes the delivery of value for teams, stakeholders, and organizations.

You must be able to apply systems-based strategic thinking, be execution focused, and you are adept at working in a team-based cross-functional environment, provide status & insights to leadership & stakeholders on various projects along with maintaining the Product Road Map.

This role reports to Sr Director, Data & Analytics.

The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written communication skills to satisfy the main duties of this profession.

Successful candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals who can work closely with technical teams along with Business owners and work independently as needed.

They should display good judgment and be able decision-makers capable of exercising strong time management skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Estimate, plan and manage Data & Analytics initiatives and projects

  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings

  • Lead Quarterly Business Roadmap planning for Data & Analytics

  • Manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans

  • Perform delivery planning for assigned projects

  • Manage stakeholder communications, and help to implement an effective system of project governance

  • Define and manage a well-defined Agile process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management

  • Be a part of the Scrum of Scrums; provide the visibility of the status and risks of sprints

  • Work with the project teams to create WBS (in Jira) for each new project.

  • Manage multiple projects that may be related and interdependent to meet an overarching objective and the overall project lifecycle.

  • Work with the project teams to track and mitigate project progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies.

  • Create various project status reports and project documents in the project document portal to allow easy access for project stakeholders.

  • Plan and track project resources (people and equipment).

  • Establish processes and tools that help improve effectiveness in delivering projects

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant domain such as Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics or related technical field or equivalent experience

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT project management

  • Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices.

    Ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment

  • A proven track record of successfully implementing software projects using Agile methodologies including 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams.

    PMP preferred

  • 4+ years of managing Data & Analytics projects

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects.

    PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent preferred

  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams

  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work successfully across all global teams and multiple departments.

  • Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business stakeholders, and senior business leaders.

  • High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.

  • Experience with project management software and Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PlanView, Aha is preferred
