Fleet and Vehicle Manager

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Fleet and Vehicle Management

  • Interacts constantly with various vehicle repair and maintenance facilities
  • Communicates complex logistical instructions to field personnel
  • Utilizes the ARI fleet management program to ensure proper approvals and documentation of service
  • Prepares detailed and comprehensive data tracking information
  • Physically assists in the movement, replacement and substitution of vehicles in the field
  • Constantly inspects and reviews quality of repair/maintenance work
  • Interviews and identifies new and additional facilities to mitigate vehicle down time and expense control
  • Collaborates with our corporate team to ensure company policies and procedures are followed and executed

Patrol Scheduling and Customer Service

  • Supports the Patrol Services Manager in Real-Time scheduling needs
  • Performs research and provides supporting documentation regarding any patrol inquiries or customer complaints
  • Assists in ensuring that all high value and high rate clients are properly patrolled and supporting documentation is shared with them
  • Performs random quality control reviews of patrol beats to ensure proper service delivery

Experience and Requirements:

  • Strong experience in security operations in a similar role
  • CA drivers license
  • Must take any safety training courses and follow safety instructions

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, walk, and stand for multiple hours
  • Hear sounds at normal speaking levels, in person and on the phone
  • Speak including expressing and exchanging information, in person and on the phone
  • Perform duties such as reading and preparing written documents, viewing security monitors and information on a phone
  • Strong hand/eye coordination
  • Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping items, using a phone, writing notes, texting/ typing on a phone, and other administrative tasks
  • Constant mental alertness and attention to detail while working
  • Occasionally lift, carry and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds


Experience/Education

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
