This role requires advanced Excel skills.
As the Director of Strategy and Analytics, your responsibilities will range from developing compelling presentations to provide data-driven insight on strategic areas of focus to providing departments with the analytical horsepower to drive initiatives.
At the manager level, you will hire for, develop, coach a small team of Business Analysts.
Prepare regular and circumstantial analysis for the CEO on topics ranging from sales performance to research efficiency and be prepared to provide opinions.
Design and execute monthly analysis packages for consumption by the Board of Directors and the company’s Executive Team.
Creation of models for a variety of requests ranging from client pricing, new market and product plans, projections and resource utilization.
Collaborate with Finance and Sales Operations for financial planning, forecasting and analysis.
Review and maintain data integrity within critical software systems and implement new reporting tools as needed.
Maintain thorough understanding of operational and financial data.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement at the company.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the Strategy and Analytics team, set deadlines and clear team goals; delegate tasks and monitor team performance.
Motivate and coach team members and support professional development Qualifications 5-10 years of experience in strategy, business operations, or an equivalent field (consulting, investment banking, strategy analyst, or business analyst background is preferred) Advanced Excel skills is a must Strong Powerpoint and presentation skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field Proven ability to adapt to change, pivot and operate under demanding deadlines Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills required Detail-oriented strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving capabilities Excited to be involved in strategic projects across departments Familiarity with SQL, financial modeling and Salesforce are a plus Experience managing a high-performing team is a plus
