A Better opportunity:

Better is looking for a Technical Project Manager with business application knowledge and the ability to help us manage our teams and workload. This individual will be reporting to the Lead Project Manager. The responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager include managing all projects for the Netsuite and People Systems teams. This individual will work closely with our IT and Security teams. The ideal candidate will provide project-based reporting, manage sprints, and communicate project updates to leadership and business partners. We are looking for a forward-thinking, business leader who is detail oriented and has the ability to manage individual team members to ensure projects get completed within a timely manner and project budget.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Netsuite and People Systems teams to define, prioritize, and develop project roadmaps.
  • Project management planning: setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, assigning team members to various deliverables, etc.
  • Analyzing project risks and resource allocation.
  • Providing reports to management on project status and risks.
  • Overseeing the development of projects and ensuring team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines while upholding the company’s standard.
  • Accurately documenting the project’s creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project’s scope, budget, and justification.
  • Managing large cross-functional projects with a team of contractors and full time employees.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years experience as a technical PM.
  • Strong technical capabilities.
  • Prior IT engineering experience.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
  • Close involvement with local technical communities.
  • A willingness to think outside of the box to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Ability to solve challenging technical business problems.

  • Strong understanding of NetSuite, Workday and Greenhouse.

This role is designated as ‘Remote Mode,’ and employees are not expected to report into a Better office at any time. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is not requiredunless fully remote employees attend an onsite, in-person meeting, office event, or otherwise interface with Better employees and/or customers in person.

For Colorado-based candidates*: Minimum salary of $115,000 + bonus potential, equity, and full benefits.
