Description: Lead the delivery of complex technology engagements and work streams for large enterprises, focusing on enterprise transformation and process optimization strategies.

These engagements have multi-level impacts including business, technical, organizational, operational, and cost reduction opportunities.

Educational and Certification Requirements
Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT/ IS, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent combination education or experience).

Advanced degree in Computer Sciences, Business, or related field preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.

Industry recognized certifications in business analysis, process design, user experience and project management preferred.

Advanced Knowledge of TTM.

Preferred:
ITIL Certification – at Expert level

• Six Sigma – Black Belt Certification

• Experienced in the use of Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
Experience
3-5 years managing IT/Transition implementation projects.

5+ years Project Management experience.

5-7 years industry experience.

5-7 years of IT/management consulting and/or operations management in a consulting firm or professional services group in software/tools vendor.

Experience developing and managing client relationships with senior-level clients.

Experience in process analysis, reengineering and design, with a focus on identifying automation-driven improvements to core enterprise processes.

Hands-on experience in architecting, executing, and managing process automation (both business and IT) and business process management initiatives.

Deep knowledge of the market for process and IT automation technologies, business process management solutions, and integration software.

Experience with creating business cases for transformation and modernization, including analysis of both total cost of ownership (TCO) and potential cost and revenue impacts of the transformation.

Experience managing large budgets and ensuring timeliness, quality, and cost of engagements.

Responsibilities
Supporting the development and implementation of a Service Transition Plan.

Coordinating Service Transition activities across projects, suppliers and service teams working with Project Managers.

 Managing Service Due Diligence projects designed to capture and document all information related the customer’s organizational structure, business practices and processes.

 Maintaining and monitoring progress for service transition changes, issues, risks, and deviations, including tracking on actions and mitigation of risks.

 Maintaining records and providing management information on resource use, project, service transition progress, budgeted and actual spend.

Communicating with stakeholders.

Ensuring the final delivery of each service transition work package meets the agreed customer and stakeholder requirements in the service design package.

 Managing the development of any interim (transition) processes and procedures.

 Supporting the implementation of Order Entry, Service Asset, Change Management and Service provisioning processes.

Managing the Knowledge Transfer process.

Establishing and ensuring that appropriate TTM processes are used/followed (such as reporting, risk management, lessons learned, quality, escalating, communications etc.).

Managing the Transition program for all HP functions (MS, HR, Procurement etc) and co-ordinates all the PMO internal and external project activities.

Leading the overall Transition/Transformation team during Pursuit and/or Transition/Transformation phases of the deal.

Managing/supporting Transition Managers in execution of Transition (project) activities.

Selecting and assigning Project Managers to head each aspect of Transition/Transformation including Technical Towers, HR, Finance and administration, Assets, 3rd party contracts, Governance, etc.

Assisting in acquiring staff and material resources for the Transition/Transformation programs and associated projects.

Ensuring that all Transition/Transformation Project Plans are consistent, congruent, and integrate with the overall Deal Project Plan and customer Transition/Transformation plans.

Leading and managing the execution of the Project Plans.

Financial management for Transition/Transformation activities, including setting budgets, approving forecasts.

Supporting the Project Managers of Transition/Transformation projects in developing each project’s scope of work, estimates, schedule and risk.

 Leading the development of Operations Manuals to meet contractual requirements within the outsourcing environment.

 Providing early life support for key operational activities such as Change Management and Service Asset & Configuration Management, as required.

Establishing new or changed services into support environments within the predicted cost, quality, and time estimates.

Establishing new or modified management information systems and tools, technology, management architectures, service management processes and measurement metrics to meet requirements established in service design.

Ensuring all parties adopt a common framework of standard reusable processes and supporting systems in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the integrated planning and coordination activities.

 Providing clear and comprehensive plans that enable custom and business change projects to align activities with the service transition plans.

Process Development
Process development will be required as an essential component of a Service Transition Program.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development of the customer facing Process and Procedures manuals.

• Supporting the development and integration of new/improved business processes according to ITIL guidelines.

Other Requirements
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal (English).

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Exceptional interpersonal and client skills, with demonstrated ability to gain confidence and respect of senior level executives.

Demonstrated leadership, client management, project management and business development skills.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Skilled at Transition Rollout.

Apply effective project management methods.

Design and deliver presentations.

Willingness to travel.

This is a hands-on consulting delivery role.
