JOB DESCRIPTION
The Consumer Products & Engineering (CPE) team is looking for a technically skilled and innovative Associate Product Manager with strong leadership skills to join our rapidly growing team.
The Associate Product Manager will help shape and execute the product roadmap for the CPE content platform APIs and management tools.
You have experience working with internal stakeholders to define and drive platform product strategies that support the consumer product roadmap.
You have a demonstrable track record of successfully gathering requirements, troubleshooting issues, conceptualizing solutions, and driving implementation across multiple development teams.
We’re looking for someone who is a self-motivated, team player able to work across disciplines to contribute to the overall business objectives of the organization.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-create, manage, and communicate a platform product roadmap with the client product management, engineering, video, and content operations teams
Collaborate with client product managers to support content requirements for the client feature roadmap
Collaborate with engineering leads to plan the content API roadmap
Collaborate with content operations to streamline and improve the content management workflow
Partner with engineering leads for sprint planning and manage expectations with other stakeholders (internal and external)
Help lead the product development process from conception to implementation
Produce detailed written specifications for features
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive UI and user flows for internal content management tools
Participate and/or lead product brainstorming sessions
Provide technical support for production content issues
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1-3 years of full-time digital media management experience
Experience contributing to product roadmaps and backlogs
Experience working with video streaming and content management tools
Strong technical acumen with an ability to learn new technical concepts quickly
Ability to manage complex dependencies across multiple engineering and product teams
Ability to communicate what the content platform APIs do in a way that lets client developers integrate with them easily
Ability to dig down and troubleshoot issues as they occur
Ability to inspire, motivate and lead
Ability to communicate well, in both small and large groups
Comfortable with giving and receiving candid feedback
Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with varied audiences
Excellent critical thinking skills for future thinking and planning

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
