Required Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years experience
  2. Experience in a CPA Firm with strong attention to detail & accuracy is a plus
  3. CPA License (optional)
  4. Bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  5. Experience with Datafication

Primary Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  1. Ensure the issuance of financial reporting packages (annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly deliverables).
  2. Lead financial reporting & close processes in adherence to business management related policies and procedures
  3. Ability to Review financial statements and general ledger
  4. Manage and review daily accounting duties for clients – AR, AP, Account Reconciliations, Payroll, 1099 reporting, booking broker statements, resolving any discrepancies & Banking, etc.
  5. Manage client and team relationships
  6. Monitor and prepare cash projections and forecasts
  7. Research and facilitate the resolution of issues arising
  8. Performs accounting research
  9. Monthly and quarterly payroll tax reports and filings
  10. Year end processing/1099 prep
  11. Manage third parties to which functions have been outsourced (payroll, systems, banking).
  12. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
  13. Recruit, lead, manage, assess and help build a high-performance team and growth culture based on providing value to customers, direct communication, compliance, and accountability.
  14. Lead financial reporting & close processes in adherence to business management related policies and procedures.
  15. Manage property purchases / sales, vehicle purchases /sales, and estate planning.
  16. Support tax work paper prep in liaison with Tax Manager to provide necessary data for the completion of all tax processes and have basic tax knowledge
