We are a multiple-licensed, vertically integrated, compliant cannabis company headquartered in Northern California seeking a professional sales associate to drive sales in wholesale, retail, and distribution from and within Los Angeles, California.
The Sales Associate will develop and maintain relationships with retailers, cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, and vendors in California; sell and upsell services and products to new and existing customers in a business-to-business environment.
Our progressive technology platform will require the sales associate to be comfortable with advanced communication and tech tools such as Slack, CRM, and ERP systems.
Commission Sales Associate
Commission Sales Associates are required to develop and maintain relationships with retailers, brands, manufacturers, distributors, and vendors in California.
They sell and upsell services/ products to new and existing customers in a business to business environment.
Sales associates are also tasked with ensuring they are performing daily activity regarding action items, contact with customers, prospects, and within the company, and recording their activity within the Thrive Societys CRM system.
Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
Prospect and develop customer pipeline.
Active lead generation.
Selling Thrive Society and third-party product to wholesale customers.
Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of farms.
Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature, ERP Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Salary
100% Commission Eligible from Day 1
Commissions @ $8/ lb.
for flower sold; KPIs: 500 lbs of flower per month 1% of topline sales for wholesale oil and CPG goods
KPIs met or exceeded consistently for 60 days:
Salary @ $5,000 / month plus commissions Commissions at $8/ lb.
for flower sold; 1% of topline sales for wholesale oil and CPG goods

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
BA/BS University degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration a plus.
Three to five years of sales experience Knowledge of industry and products a plus.
Familiarity with office software and phone systems Cannabis Knowledge is required
