A social media company has an open position for a Remote Video Performance Engineering Manager.
Must be able to:
Build, hire and lead a high-calibre team of software engineers and systems engineers Design, engineer and deliver the core video infrastructure services used by all of products Be responsible for setting and maintaining availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency SLOs
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
5+ years of experience developing internet-scale software, preferably in performance or video roles Experience in one or more frontend or mobile platforms Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule BS/MS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
