ABOUT YOU:

We are seeking an adaptable and high-energy Vice President to join our growing Employee Experience team in either Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Chicago.

As part of our dynamic team, you’ll contribute to the success of major accounts across a variety of sectors.

In addition to a seasoned employee experience professional, we’re seeking someone with Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) experience, bringing new skill sets to push our thinking, share fresh, innovative ideas and elevate the quality of programming we deliver for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

While there is no “typical day” at Edelman, your time will include exposure to a variety of disciplines within Edelman and involvement in driving large, integrated client projects.

Primary responsibilities include:
Client Delivery: You’ll lead and contribute to employee engagement projects for large, global brands in a fast-paced environment; lead operational and financial performance of account teams, manage billing; ensuring quality work, effective processes and that client requests are handled in a timely and strategic fashion; thoughtfully counsel clients based on employee experience and the D&I landscape; take immediate action on client feedback.

New Business: Capitalize on, and contribute to, the Edelman global network to serve and grow business; lead RFP response and pitching; and ensure that you and your team understand the general business strategy, products and services offered by your clients, as well as issues relating to products, primary competition and general issues facing their industries.  People Development: Supervise staff by mentoring, motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, conducting their reviews and overseeing their professional development.

Basic Requirements:
Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in employee engagement, communications strategy, or internal communications Strong D&I communications experience: internal D&I communications plans, tactics and deliverables, D&I campaigns, assessments.

D&I strategy develop, training and annual D&I reports are a plus Bachelor’s degree in a related field Proven ability to manage large projects simultaneously Strong understanding of how to build executive-level relationships, communicate with teams and engage various client stakeholders Has a track record of leading profitable programs that have advanced client business goals Is an empathetic people manager, with the confidence, professionalism, and entrepreneurial spirit necessary to manage a team Demonstrates advanced writing, editing and presentation-development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills (including effective questioning, critical thinking and client management) Is passionate about client service, new ways of thinking and teamwork Brings a commitment to advancing the vision of the Edelman Employee Experience practice both internally and externally Loves to pitch, present and win new business #LI-DW
