and many Fortune 500 companies.**Job Summary/Responsibilities**The candidate will have a technical background such as Engineering, Building Sciences, Architecture or similar and ideally have some professional experience in the green building/design sector as well as demonstrated technical experience in energy simulation and/or parametric design.The candidate will need to be a team player who can work with others in a multi-disciplinary team to undertake building performance analysis and produce reports to tight deadlines.The ideal person must be able to understand and react to the changing design of the overall building/community and be able to verbally and visually communicate their ideas clearly.

The ability to develop and communicate ideas convincingly will be a significant strength in any potential candidate.The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:+ High performance building modelling and evaluation including but not limited to ASHRAE 90.1 energy modeling, local code calculations, daylight simulations, parametric design modeling and embodied carbon calculations.+ Preparing and presenting results and professional recommendations, in report or graphical format, to clients and teams+ Review of mechanical drawings and mechanical equipment submittals, electrical drawings and/ or architectural drawings and specifications against high performance goals and sustainable certification criteria+ Working or leading others in a multi-disciplinary team to undertake analysis and produce reports for deadlines+ Developing and communicating ideas clearly and concisely**Minimum Requirements**Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Building Sciences, Architecture, or a related field**Preferred Qualifications**+ Masters’ degree preferred in engineering, planning, or sustainability-related field+ 1-3 years or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.+ Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, and in particular, Excel for data analytics.+ Knowledge and experience undertaking detailed building energy modeling.+ Knowledge and experience in working with parametric design workflows (e.g.

Dynamo, Grasshopper, etc.).+ Understanding of high performance and zero carbon building principles and technologies+ Experience working in the high-performance sustainable design sector+ Experience and knowledge of energy simulation software (e.g.

IES, EnergyPlus, Energy Pro, eQuest, OpenStudio, Trane Trace etc.)+ Experience with building performance analyses including daylight modeling, glare analysis, hygrothermal simulation, and embodied carbon calculations+ Experience in building performance analysis tools such as Ladybug Tools, Diva, WUFI, Tally etc.+ Experience in graphics software such as InDesign, Illustrator etc.+ Experience in building design software such as Revit, Rhino, etc.+ Experience with building energy codes and standards including ASHRAE 90.1 and Title 24 Part 6+ Knowledge of sustainability assessment systems (such as LEED, Green Globes, and BREEAM)+ Additional certifications/licenses e.g.
