The Opportunity
Adobe Customer Solution Consultants are responsible for the partnership between Adobe and our strategic clients, driving value realization and return on the client’s investment. This team is comprised of technology-savvy individuals who have experience in commerce and know its value in driving company strategies. Work directly with our clients to understand business and technical requirements, and to develop solutions to ensure success!

What You’ll Do
The Business Solution Architect interacts with customers and the project team to ensure the delivery of a well-designed and effectively architected business solution. The BSA participates in discovery workshops and guides business requirements to Adobe Commerce native functionality to reduce the need for customizations. They continue to collaborate closely with technical teams throughout the project. The BSA also serves as the Proxy Product Owner on development projects, for which responsibilities include:

Driving the project based on the client’s priorities;

Understand requirements and priorities.

Collaborating with the client to have clearly documented and signed-off user stories and use cases;

Working with the client to clearly explain and document software defects;

Prioritizing requirements for the development team;

Clarifying requirements for the development team: Architects, QA Engineers, Developers, and Project Manager.

Leading expectations on project scope and schedule.

Aligns project team on the Definition of Done.

Adheres to Consulting Services’ Development methodologies.

Continually refines user stories and use cases for upcoming sprints.

Schedules meetings to clarify requirements with the client and for the Development Team.

Maintains requirements matrix for specifications, development, and testing.

Reviews technical specifications and cross-checks against requirements.

Provides feedback on QA test cases and test results.

What you need to succeed

BS Degree in Computer Science is preferred or equivalent practical experience

Detailed functional knowledge of all Adobe Commerce products and all relevant commerce technologies

3+ years of experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento, Adobe Commerce Business Practitioner Certification preferred

Experience writing User Stories and Use Cases to document requirements

Experience with Agile/Scrum, Certified Product Owner/Scrum Master preferred

Solid understanding of the organization’s business strategy

Great analytical and problem-solving skills

Passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale, attention to details, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills

Strong presentation and leadership skills

Strong mentoring skills, ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $139,400 — $224,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
