This role has the responsibility to achieve optimal occupancy and ADR growth to maximize total revenue while meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives for the entire collection of hotels.< /p><P>< /p><P>< B><Br>WE OFFER:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> Competitive wages</li> <Li>Referral bonus program< /li><Li> 401(k) retirement plan< /li><Li> Medical, dental, and vision insurance< /li><Li> Employee assistance program< /li><Li> Employee discounts at our Hotels and Restaurants nationwide< /li><Li> Progressively increasingpaid vacation plan< /li><Li> Sick pay</li>< Li>Holiday pay< /li><Li> Professional developmentand career advancement opportunities< /li><Li> Endless smiles and positive energy!< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:< /b></p> <P><B> Direct Sales:< /b></p> <P>Develop appointment-oriented sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established by departmental budget and marketing plan.< /p><P>< /p><P>< B><Br>Revenue Management:< /b></p> <P>A well-rounded understanding of the particulars of revenue management and its relation to sales, including but not limited to:< /p><Ul> <Li>Market intelligence and trends< /li><Li> Sales and revenue strategies< /li><Li> General knowledge of revenue and reservations systems.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>New Account Development/Key Account Management:< /b></p> <P>Capture competitor’s accounts through networking & research in order to target and solicit those most probable to generate new business.< /p><Ul> <Li>Continually targets and prospects for new business through telemarketing, individual creativity and innovation.< /li><Li> Maximize current hotel key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer room night and revenue growth.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>Customer Service:< /b> Develop strong customer relationships through frequent communication and the use of professional, courteous and ethical interpersonal interaction.< /p><Ul> <Li>Develop customer profiles and maintain an effective trace system, including trace dates and references, in order to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>Communication: < /b>Exhibit a positive and involved team attitude to all hotel departments and maintain open communications with all co-workers for the best overall performance of the hotel.< /p><P>< /p><P>< B><Br>Reporting:< /b> Achieves activity goals as established by management and completes all reports and assignments in an accurate and timely fashion.< /p><Ul> <Li>Prepare sales metrics reports documenting sales calls< /li><Li> Outlining opportunities,and identifying new bookings.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>Community & Travel:< /b> Actively participate in community and industry organizations and travel where needed for client appointments, site visits or trade shows to benefit the collection’s exposure to the community and bottom line.

As necessary, attend out-of-town conventions to generate business.< /p><P>< /p><P>< B><Br>Hotel Leadership: < /b>Director of Sales is expected to lead by example at all times and stay visible to the team.

The leadership goals should be the following:< /p><Ul> <Li>Be apart of a leadership team of brand advocates who believe in what Palisociety has to offer and who are personally invested in its success.< /li><Li> Foster an environment where team members know they are valued, ensuring they are treated fairly and with respect.< /li><Li> Assist in building a culture of open communication, spend time with team members and be available for them (open door policy).< /li><Li> Continuously strive to improve and maintain client and guest experiences.< /li><Li> Be a leader in managing the overall reputation management of the property.< /li><Li> Continue to give the brand a voice – naturally showcasing what the brand has to offer and its virtues to others (employees, leaders, owners).< /li><Li> Easily translate a passion for the brand into a unique experience for both hotel guests and employees.< /li><Li> Personify the best values of the brand, demonstrating exceptional work ethic and service delivery for all employees on property.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><B> <Br>REQUIREMENTS:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> 6+ years Hotel Sales Experience required< /li><Li> Must be able to communicate in English, both written and verbal.< /li><Li> Must be able to speak clearly and understandably over the telephone.< /li><Li> Great written communication and Telephone Etiquette< /li><Li> Organization</li> <Li>Professionalism< /li><Li> Experience with Microsoft Office, including: Excel, Word, Outlook.< /li><Li> OPERA experience a plus.< /li></ul> <P></p> <P><Br> Palisociety is an <B> Equal Opportunity Employer< /b> committed tohiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
