BSA – Investment Management Portfolio Administrator II
Summary
Seeking an investment professional to monitor the daily trading activity for the firm and provide support for a mix of discretionary managers and algorithmic investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience with systematic (no touch) execution strategies and the software systems that support these strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor the firm’s daily trading activities and provide trading support to a mix of discretionary portfolio managers and quantitative systematic investment strategies
Manage the daily trade workflow and reconsolidation process
Lead the trade break resolution process with Brokers, Custodians, and Fund Administrators
Onboard and setup new Separate Accounts clients in the Portfolio Management and Order Management Systems
Work with external trading partners to setup data feeds and work with our Capital Markets team to implement monitoring of these feeds
Organize and lead the monthly NAV review approval process
Design and maintain portfolio reports for senior management
Work with our Decision Support team to design & build custom trading analytics / tools
Work with our Capital Markets team to design & build trading infrastructure software components
Prepare regulatory filings (Form 13F, Form PF, etc.)
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Finance and 2-4 years of relevant experience
Previous experience working with equity investments in a trading capacity is required
Previous experience with Order Management System (Eze Castle, etc.), Execution Management Systems, and Portfolio Management Systems (Advent Geneva, APX, etc.) is required
Expert skill in writing SQL queries to gather, clean, and analyze trading data is required.
Familiarity with a programming language such as Python, C, and R is a plus
Familiarity with FIX protocol is a plus
Ability to thrive in a remote work environment is essential
