Human Resources SpecialistAcenda Integrated Health is seeking a Human Resources Specialist with solid organizational/administrative skills to join our growing team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working with HR Team to determine process improvements and new process implementations as needed.
This position is responsible for record entry/reporting, the full off-boarding process for terminating employees and completing employment verifications.
Additional responsibilities may include scheduling training, creation/distribution of employee IDs and business cards and assisting in onboarding activities as needed.
Assisting with HR related projects and assignments on an as needed basis.To be successful in this position you must become able to do the following essential duties and responsibilities always:1.

Meets customer interaction requirements as outlined in job expectations section below.Job ExpectationsResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Timely and courteous communications with applicants/employees in person, via telephone and email,Offboarding departing employees;Completing employment verifications;Coordinating training enrollments;Coordinate the hiring of temporary staff in accordance with budgets as needed;Creating employee ID badges, business cards, etc.;Electronic records maintenance as needed; andPerforms additional duties as assigned or requiredCommunication Requirements:Communicates department or job-related concerns to supervisor and makes suggestions for improvement in an appropriate and timely manner.Communicates any performance concerns or training needs to supervisor in an appropriate and timely manner.Conducts self in a professional manner that positively reflects the agency culture.Demonstrates competent verbal communication with internal and external customers.Is attentive and responsive to customer needs in a helpful, supportive and timely manner.Works collaboratively with coworkers and agency staff to effectively communicate and problem solve.Necessary Skills and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school diploma with relevant experience working in a human resources environment.3-5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a human resources environment.Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel; proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint.HRIS experience is a plusAbility to prioritize workload, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills necessary to communicate and work effectively with management and co-workers.Excellent telephone manner.Ability to understand, interpret, develop and communicate company policies and procedures.Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and strong customer service skills.Ability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks and assignments.Ability to empathize and defuse sensitive or contentious employee issues.To qualify for this position, you must meet the below minimum requirements:Must regularly be able to see, speak and hear.
