Director, Human Resources

The Human Resources Director is an essential member of the Vision Research leadership team contributing to the development and execution of the business’s annual strategic plan.This position is a senior staff level role at an AMETEK Business Unit and the individual will play a key role in guiding the strategic direction and leading the efficient execution of activities to profitably grow the business.

And we’re looking for an HR Business Partner that wants to grow with usKey Responsibilities:Work closely with managers to provide expertise and hands on support in multiple areas including talent, diversity & inclusion, recruitment, workforce planning, on boarding, employee retention, employee relations, management coaching, performance management and change managementAdvise and coach managers on HR policies and programs including employee relations mattersFoster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagementRecommend improvements to policies, programs, and procedures related to the effectiveness of the HR functionWork closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retentionTrack and analyze metrics on talent, employee actions, terminations, and voluntary attrition to recommend actions as neededRequirements for Consideration:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of HR generalist experienceKnowledge of Federal, State, and Local employment regulationsGoal-driven, self-starter with exceptional written and oral communication skills and an ability to handle interpersonal matters tact and diplomacyAbility to establish rapport with all levels of employees within the organizationMust have the ability to multitask with strong time/priority management skillsAMETEK is a highly technical manufacturing company made up of 40 industry leading companies.
