Research Scientist

Research Scientist Location: New Brunswick, NJ Duration: 12 Months Comments: Candidate will be required to report onsite Job Description: You will be primarily responsible for laboratory and pilot plant work related to the development of solid-dosage forms for new chemical entities.

Development activities include design and optimization of formulation and manufacturing processes, scale-up and transfer to manufacturing facilities and preparation of documentation to support product registration.

Education and skills required: BS degree with 8-10 years experience required.

PhD with 0
– 4 years’ experience or masters with 4 to 10 years preferred Background in pharmacy, chemistry, or chemical engineering with some experience and a basic understanding of solid-dosage forms development and process unit operations.

Hands-on experience with HPLC and dissolution instrumentation to support development activities and experience with computers and statistics are preferred.
