Dune is hiring an experienced line cook for our Atwater Village location (3143 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90039).
We are a very high volume, fast-paced Mediterranean restaurant with an emphasis on high quality, fresh, organic ingredients. We strive to maintain the highest of standards and are seeking a self-motivated individual who takes their work seriously and works well with a team.’
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Skills
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry s best practice
Offering
$18.50 per hour plus tips
Tips average $7-$10 dollar per hour
