As the Technical Product Manager you are an integral part of the product management team, be directly responsible for the success of Convoso’s products including working cross-functionally across development, marketing, sales, and support bringing products to market.

The person will have a technical background (computer science or engineering) enabling them to interact with engineers in technical conversations .

What you will do: Work with the Product team to translate product requirements and strategy into technical roadmaps, with detailed user stories, usage scenarios, milestones, and any required context for engineering.

Collaborate with engineering to deliver estimated timelines for projects, including regular updates as projects move through engineering.

Team with engineers to ensure that the technical roadmap is delivered in a timely, predictable fashion, with high quality, by managing and planning team sprints, coaching, and guiding execution.

Deliver regular reports to the VP of Engineering and the Director of Product regarding team productivity, velocity, and effectiveness, backed by data and key metrics.

Collaborate with the VP of Engineering to help solve complex business requirements and propose the logical business solutions.

Assist the VP of Engineering in implementing methodologies, tools, and systems that will provide visibility into the productivity and effectiveness of the engineering team, and into project progress.

Who you are: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical field of study 3+ years of product management experience defining, building, and shipping modern B2B SaaS software solutions ideally in a startup environment.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners and executives.

Deep understanding and experience with agile development methodologies, including scrum and kanban.

Familiarity with project management systems such as Jira and Confluence and key product management building blocks such as personas, competitive analysis, and MVP.

Strong customer focus with a track record of successful customer interactions.

Ability to build relationships and influence others without authority at all levels of the organization.

An eye for UX design and the ability to communicate clear requirements and user needs.

A passion for resourceful and creative problem-solving.

Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
