AWS Solution Architect
3-6 Month Contract Engagement
AArete is looking for an AWS Solution Architect to join the AArete Technology Services (ATS) team for a 3-6 month client engagement.
You will be working on an AWS project involving environment design, architecting, and implementing the technical solution components based on our client’s requirements.
The right candidate must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, Security, DevOps, Databases, Application Development, Analytics) and deep in infrastructure area.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Be the technical expert in designing solutions for data platform overseeing deployment of long term strategic data products and infusing key data and analytics services in applicable areas of business and IT
- Build cloud native microservices architecture for data with focus on IaaS, metadata driven frameworks and dataops
- Design cloud infrastructure and security framework
- Design, build and own data models, data flows, and integration patterns for the data lake leading to completion of future state model
- Support data engineers in building and managing conceptual, logical and physical models of data architecture
- Build high priority prototypes in a cloud platform and demonstrate value and feasibility of the solutions and architecture
- Be involved in all project phases and drive data architecture initiatives
- Holistically look at the Healthcare technology market and our product suite to determine technological implementation and approach
- Work closely with the Client’s Architecture and Product Management teams to implement correct data engineering strategies
- Engage with strategic customers and ensure their future needs and vision are top of mind
- Closely follow and influence the healthcare technology space as a thought leader through research, writing and attending or presenting at conferences
Qualifications:
- You have roughly ten years of hands-on experience in architecting solutions at scale for data engineering and Devops
- You possess solid experience building solutions and services in AWS cloud platforms.
Stacks includes but not limited to : (e.g.
Big Data, Data Lake, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Sagemaker, Airflow, Snowflake, Containers, PowerBI etc.)
- You have experience designing data structures and models for a microservices environment, data lake and cloud data warehouses and supporting downstream applications based on Tableau, PowerBI and ML models
- You have experience in AWS Infrastructure design and security framework
- You have experience with Devops, containerization, Docker, Bitbucket, Terraform etc
- You have experience with orchestration and automation of data pipelines to build devOps model
- You have experience with big data platforms, SQL & no SQL databases
- You are comfortable working within a scaled agile program and collaborating with product managers in creating and managing technical backlog of stories and epics
- You are proficient in scripting languages – Python, Scala and R
- You are strong communicator individually, in groups and in presentations with a vision for how technology can enable and improve healthcare
