Job Description:
The West Coast Security Manager is responsible for managing security operations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include but not limited to:
- Be energetic, self motivated and highly flexible
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal and computer skills
- Must be able to supervise low and mid-level management and supervisors
- Must be able to recruit, interview and provide initial training for all incoming new hires
- Conducting spot checks on officers
- Ensure officer attendance at scheduled work post; enact progressive discipline when needed
- Conduct general training, as needed, for all officers including some cross training of reliable officers
- Monitor over time hours
- Reviewing daily reports and paperwork from each worksite
- Flexibility to be on call, including after hours, weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule
- Conduct meetings with clients and customers to resolve issues and meet clients needs
- Other duties assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3-4 years of security experience
- Must have 3-4 years of management experience
- Must posses a valid security license
- Must be at least 25 years of age
- Must have a clean driver’s license
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a 10 background check
- Must posses a positive personality and leadership qualities, communication and conflict resolutions
