West Coast Area Sales Manager

We are looking to fulfill a position as an Area Sales Manager for the West Coast Area identified as the following USA states in their entirety: California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for:

Managing commercial activities of existing and new distributors of RUPES and Cyclo products within the region.

Training of existing and new distributors of RUPES and Cyclo products within the region, in concert with Global Training Manager as needed.

Identifying, engaging and onboarding candidates for distribution of RUPES and Cyclo products in areas of the region that currently lack such representation.

Arranging and implementing field support for existing and new distributors of RUPES and Cyclo products within the region.

Introducing new products to existing and new distributors of RUPES and Cyclo products within the region, in concert with the Global Training Manager as needed.

Supporting company activities in areas other than the West Coast USA region as required.

Contributing to sales reports for the specific territory and achieving yearly sales goals.

Reporting industry trends and opportunities to the National Sales Manager.

Managing any manufacturers representatives contracted by Rupes USA and operating within the designated West Coast area.

The position of Area Sales Manager requires extensive interaction with local distributors and end users in the territory area as well as occasional overnight travel to other geographic market areas in the region.

The frequency of overnight travel will be determined during strategy sessions with the National Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will:
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or have extensive business experience Have a Minimum of 5 years Sales and Key Account experience with a strong verifiable track record of success Possess strong written and verbal communication skills Possess strong time management and organization skills Be self-driven, accountable, of high integrity, communicative, dedicated, detail oriented, organized, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills Operate within designated travel budget Be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Have a strong background in surface preparation and rectification as typically exist in detail and body shop applications Have distribution network management or have experience working at the distribution level Possess the ability to interact at all levels of the business world, from shop technicians to management level Be team-oriented in all actions

The ideal candidate will:
Be bilingual in English and Spanish Have experience with Netsuite CRM Have an understanding of general accounting principles Have industrial sales experience

Compensation is based on experience.
