Manager DescriptionOur client in the wholesale industry is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to add to their team in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
You will be responsible for effectively leading the daily operations of a distribution center with 10,000 SKUs to drive productivity, efficiency, and safety while promoting a positive work culture.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of building and leading teams in Operations, direct experience across various functional areas within a warehouse, and be knowledgeable regarding WMS systems (Warehouse Management Systems).

Manager Responsibilities
•Manage a two-shift operation of 60-70 permanent and temporary employees from the DC floor
•Mentor and establish best practices among department supervisors and leads
•Meet daily production and service level targets
•Leverage the WMS system to drive operational efficiencies
•Monitor reports to identify operational strengths and weaknesses
•Continually evaluate processes and procedures for improvement opportunities
•Drive team member accountability to achieve DC performance goals
•Foster a positive environment of collaboration
•Build a high-performance team: interview, hire, train, cross-train, develop and mentor
•Manage labor and resources in relation to fluctuating business demands
•Meet or exceed OSHA safety requirementsWarehouse Ops.
Manager Qualifications
•5 years of leadership and supervisory experience in warehouse operations required
•Experience across functional areas (inventory control, receiving, picking, & packing) required
•Experience building, training, and developing teams required
•Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) required
•Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet business demands required
•Domestic travel 2-3 times per year required
•Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, push, and lift up to 50 lbs.
