Job Description

There will be USA based travel required (subject to COVID 19 outbreaks and restrictions)

This role will require a person who has had extensive experience in promoting products in the Aftermarket, the jobber network, and digital and social media to achieve results. The candidate will both manage team members and interface with marketing support personnel.

Position Overview

Establish and monitor short and long term marketing goals, objectives, policies, and metrics.

Oversee all current marketing efforts including email campaigns, social media, content creation, and more.

Develop marketing plans and campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive consumer loyalty.

Define and manage the EGR social media strategy and coordinate on influencer, brand, and event marketing efforts.

Lead consumer and brand learning, including consumer research; this includes periodic analysis of the brand, category, and customer / consumer trends.

A key member of the executive team and reporting to the VP of Sales will be tasked with building, scaling, and leading the commercial organization

Position Requirements and Skills

10+ years of relevant marketing experience; marketing experience within Automotive Industry is ideal.

Brand strategy, activation, and innovation experience

Ability to motivate and energize both internal and external stakeholders

Demonstrable skills to develop and execute large-scale marketing and sales programs and projects with varying degrees of complexity

Demonstrated ability to create and lead high performance and metrics focused teams that consistently exceed targets

Strong leadership and coaching skills with the particular ability to inspire and positively influence employees within a region and in remote working locations

Impassioned advocate of strategic planning and innovative thinking

Skillful and knowledgeable in technology, technological applications and social media

Highly developed and relatable people skills to support the establishment of strong and meaningful relationships with colleagues, media representatives, business partners, and consumers
