The US Markets team manages the US market as a portfolio of individual markets and focuses on identifying and working on important strategic growth opportunities that arise in the US market.
About The Role
Senior Managers are strategic leaders within DoorDash.

We’re looking for unicorns – people who can operate at the highest level while simultaneously managing the actions necessary to achieve our goals.

You have experience blending analytics, the creativity to scope and problem solve.

You can think about both the short and long term goals of a market.

You are a self-starter and able to lead multiple work streams to achieve the vision for the region.You will report to the General Manager of California and be focused on driving profitability and growth within California

Strategize – Develop and work on the strategies for the dasher, customer, and merchant operations within your region.

Analyze – Build analysis to understand your regional strengths and weaknesses, competitive pressures and opportunity areas.

Manage
– Analyze your P&L to identify investment opportunities, cost drivers and potential future revenue streams.

Build – Create new business by exploring growth opportunities with our partners for the DoorDash Marketplace and other verticals.

Advocate – Work cross-functionally with our Operations, Product, Engineering, Business Operations, Sales, BD, and Marketing teams to create and implement strategic projects and harness opportunities crucial to the growth of your region.

Lead – Build your team to achieve your goals.

Experiment – Use a data-driven approach and marketplace knowledge to identify improvement opportunities, run tests, and make our business 1% better everyday.

Operate – Figure out how to get from A to B and then actually make it happen.

Grow – Help the business get 1% better every day.
