We have a passion for travel and believe in the power of adventure.< /p><P>< B>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:< /b></p> <P>As a member of the executive team, this senior position will spearhead all product strategy and execution for the company – from van design, prototyping, production, project management, research and development.
In addition, they will handle vehicle procurement and sales.
The candidate must have demonstrated campervan, RV or marine/boat building experience.
The candidate must be mechanically inclined, and highly experienced in general construction and product design
– carpentry, metalworking, assembly, light electrical.
Attention to detail and strong work ethic is required.
Reporting to the President, the position will be required to deliver monthly reporting, and work closely with finance, purchasing, operations.< /p><P>< B>VAN/PRODUCT DESIGN:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> Audit current van fitouts and identify opportunities for design that align with Escape strategy, model and customer base< /li><Li> Identify components to improve/enhance, and test those< /li><Li> Audit all componentry and manage all inventory, budgeting and purchasing of components required for van buildouts< /li><Li> Lead research and development for innovating designs, build approaches and materials< /li><Li> Identify which vendors, 3rd parties, contractors are the right partners for Escape and which< /li></ul> <P><B> PRODUCTION/BUILD</b> </p><Ul> <Li>Oversee all aspects of production to ensure proper timing to meet production goals and deadlines Manage all inventory, budgeting and purchasing of components required for van buildouts< /li><Li> Create and manage timeline & project plan to meet production deadlines and deliverables< /li><Li> Hire and manage technical build staff< /li><Li> Manage all third party partners and vendors & schedule installations< /li><Li> Responsible for overseeing QA process and signoff on quality for every van produced< /li><Li> Maintain a clean and organized facility< /li></ul> <P><B> VAN PURCHASING & SALES< /b></p> <Ul><Li> Work directly with auctions/manufacturers to procure all vans for Escape fleet< /li><Li> Make recommendations on van models and manage order from order to delivery< /li><Li> Coordinate all van salesfor Escape and keep all licensing up to date< /li></ul> Requirements:< P><B>GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> Current driver’s licenseand clean driving record< /li><Li> Previous experience overseeing large van conversion projects< /li><Li> Experience project managing, overseeing large volume projects on tight deadlines< /li></ul> <P>
