Job Description

Vice President of IT and Technology
(Direct Hire – Local to Northridge or Northern Los Angeles)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement technology strategies to ensure the organization’s IT systems, applications and architecture are state of the art.
  • Identify and analyze emerging technologies to deploy and integrate into our environment.
  • Responsible for overall operations that safeguard systems and data through proper access controls, internal permissions, monitoring, and proper response to intrusions.
  • Develop and create protocols that will maintain a healthy IT environment to support growth.
  • Coach, mentor, and train existing or new IT staff members.
  • Oversee and implement IT framework to include policies, procedures, standards and metrics.
  • Motivate IT leaders and team members to inspire them to uphold quality of service and achieve long term career growth.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Requirements:

  • An innovative leader who collaborates to drive culture, vision, and implement progressive technologies.
  • Degree in Computer Science and/or higher-level education is desired.
  • Strategic visionary, ability to see the big picture of our business applications and infrastructure.
  • High standards and devotion to quality and excellent customer service.
  • Solid knowledge of VMware 6.X, Windows 2016 R2, Cisco Networking and related technologies
  • Familiar with SDLC, Scrum and Agile methodologies within Web Development.
  • Experience in deploying private, public and hybrid cloud strategies with a focus on virtualization.
  • Familiar leading a global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, storage, large data environments and security.
  • Experience with Windows Server (2008/2012/2016R2), Azure and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Pay Range: $165,000.00 – $200,000.00 Annually
