The emergency response team falls under this department as wellJob overview and responsibilitiesEmployee Assistance Regional Manager’s purpose is to improve, retain or maintain the productivity and health functioning of the workplace; to address United’s specific business needs through the application of specialized knowledge and expertise about human behavior and mental health.

The EAP Manager will assist in addressing productivity issues by identifying and resolving personal concerns, including health, marital, family, financial, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional, stress or other personal issues that may affect job performance.

The EAP Manager will also provide organizational, behavioral health expertise to management, HR Business Partners and union peer groups through consultation and training.Conducts confidential and timely clinical psycho-social identification/assessment interviews for employees and family members, determining legal, safety and risk (i.E., alcohol/drug problems, threat of violence, suicidality)Provides referrals to health providers and community agencies; including case management and working with Managed Care vendorConsults and partners with divisional supervisors, managers, upper management and union representatives regarding trainings, EAP orientation, Benefit Fairs and coachingSpecialized case management for Pilot Monitoring Program (HIMS), SAP Services, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, Mandated or Last Chance Agreements and Crisis management including partnering with management, HR.

LR and union for ongoing monitoringResponsible for daily operations for specific EAP region, including but not limited to, client management, statistics/reporting, confidential file maintenance and other duties as assignedRequiredMaster’s Degree in Clinical, Counseling/Social Work, CEAP, SAP eligibleBroad brush mental health/Substance Abuse experience2-4 years in mental health services, Minimum of 5 years EAP experience post Master’s, 2-3 years experience with hands on Substance Abuse treatmentAbility to handle 24/7 on call crisis intervention responsibilityTraining/Presentation skills, good verbal and written communication skillsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionPreferred3-5 years In-house EAP experience, Mental Health & Substance Abuse BenefitmanagementEqual Opportunity Employer – Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT
