Performance Marketing Manager

The Performance Marketing Manager’s primary goal is to help drive profitable revenue growth across paid and performance channels.

Initially, their focus will skew towards optimizing and expanding our paid efforts on existing channels (e.g.

Google, OTT, Youtube).

Soon, however, these efforts will encompass other performance channels and will involve close collaboration across the company for a truly integrated marketing perspective.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious marketer who wants to gain valuable performance marketing experience quickly within a growing eCommerce startup.

Though this is a performance marketing role, we operate extremely closely as a team.

You’ll have exposure to all parts of the business, and will be given the freedom and trust to own and scale various parts of our marketing strategy.

This position can be remote.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage customer acquisition & retention execution across multiple channels including Paid Search, YouTube, display, streaming & OTT
  • Explore new scalable performance channels (programmatic, Native, etc)
  • Fully manage and execute digital campaigns.

Constantly optimize and scale what is already working, while searching for new, innovative growth tactics.

  • Grow + optimize current channels further, while bringing new channels online in the future.
  • Allocate and manage marketing budgets across channels & campaigns on a daily basis to achieve ROAS & CPA targets.
  • Manage daily operations and relationships with agency partners/vendors.

Effectively partner with them for efficient in/out-house execution.

  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to help execute performance marketing efforts, in particular with creative, merchandising, and site dev/tech.
  • Be able to identify & ideate on high-potential creative assets, and work closely with creative teams to quickly turn around new test assets.
  • Report on marketing performance and KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CVR, etc.)

Who You Are:

  • 2
    – 3+ years of performance marketing experience, ideally either in-house at a DTC eCommerce startup or agency (with eCommerce clients).
  • Strong experience managing paid search campaigns
  • Strong desire to explore new marketing channels; a curious “student of marketing”.
  • Experience working with in-house dev and site/conversion optimization teams.
  • Right & Left Brain.

You are extremely analytical and detail-oriented but also have a keen creative eye.

You can breeze your way through an excel model, and also work with creative teams to produce engaging ad content.

  • Highly organized and process-driven, but able to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • You are inherently a curious person that loves to ideate, test, learn, and repeat.

You love the process itself just as much as the end result.

  • Excited to roll up your sleeves and be part of a collaborative startup team where no task is too small (or large).
  • Bonus credit for experience in direct mail marketing.

What You’ll Get:

  • Free bedding for a great night’s sleep, an awesome discount and $300 worth of free product a year!
  • Health, dental and vision benefits with 100% employee coverage offering.
  • Flexible vacation packages
  • 401k
  • Competitive salary and stock options
