Tai Ping: Showroom Manager

Tai Ping is seeking an experience Showroom Manager for our Los Angeles Showroom.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales and related business activities in and from the Showroom.

With responsibilities including individual direct sales and day to day operations, the qualified individual will provide direction, training and mentorship to sales and staff to meet the high standards that are required by our brands.If you have a proven ability to maximize growth and possess strong leadership skills with a team mentality, we can offer you a rewarding career at Tai Ping.Responsibilities Include: Sales Generate personal sales that will meet or exceed established forecasts.

Prospect new clientele.

Manage custom projects by completing initial quotes, design requests, P& E and sample requests.

Liaise with internal departments to ensure custom creations meet all requirements.

Work closely with applicable staff through order completion to ensure projects are progressing timely and on schedule.

Management Provide support as needed to sales team to aid sales efforts.

Establish annual sales targets and goals for sales representatives, while consistently reviewing actual performance against goals.

Establish annual T& E budgets for self and sales representatives, based on business objectives.

Consistently reviewing and ensuring expenditures are appropriate, reasonable, and within budget.

Ensure client lists are properly maintained with appropriate distribution among sales team.

Proactive management of showroom expenses ensuring they are appropriate and reasonable, while driving operational efficiency.

Proactively work to mitigate risks of potential order issues, performing first response trouble shooting and problem solving when issues arise.

Manage certain support staff by assigning responsibilities, ensure timesheet accuracy and conduct annual reviews.

Develop and maintain positive, professional working relationships with all levels of staff throughout the company.

Liaise with appropriate team members on local marketing and product needs.Required Skills & Competencies 5 Years related sales and/or sales management experience.

Demonstrated consistent success meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Direct experience working for or with the Interior Design and/or Architecture professions, preferred.

Demonstrated ability to build & maintain strong relationships and work collaboratively.

Entrepreneurial self-starter and strong, rational and accountable decision maker.

Working knowledge of Tai Ping’s product offering and target market segments, is a plus.

Computer literacy, including demonstrated ability with MS Office applications, including Excel.
