We’re advancing the treatment of heart and vascular disease through breakthrough medical technologies in ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY & HEART FAILURE, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

The primary function is to lead various Supply Chain Sustainability initiatives by working with cross-functional team members to implement sustainability improvement plans.

This role uses data to drive decisions and communication to the organization WHAT YOU’LL DO Leads and manages multiple sustainability projects simultaneously Identify, develop, and gather necessary resources to complete projects.

Coordinate with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources and contributions for the project.

Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing a project; Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.

Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.

Works cross-functionally to perform risk analyses and develop mitigation strategies to improve the supply chain Plan and facilitate large cross-functional leadership meetings to provide status updates, discuss risks and mitigations, and escalates key decisions.

Provide support and direction to project staff on problem solving, visualization of data, and development of metric (KPIs) Perform other supply chain project related work and other duties as assigned by manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING Required Bachelor’s Degree Required Degree(s) in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration 5 years progressively more responsible roles in project management People management experience Experience with processing data and visualization of data Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to manage deadlines and adjust to changing priorities Good people relations, able to work independently with good administrative and time management skills Preferred Masters’ degree preferred Experience in medical device manufacturing preferred Sustainability experience preferred WHAT WE OFFER At Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
