Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Manager! You will be responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in overseeing operations at both of our Wax Paper locations. This allows you to take two stores, as you travel between them to ensure their success and the well-being of our employees.

Responsibilities (all but not limited to):

Multi-Store Oversight: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of shops within close proximity. Ensuring both locations are running efficiently, and delivering exceptional customer service will be the core focus of your role.

Staff Management: As a Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of dedicated employees at each location. Your primary responsibility will be to foster a positive and motivated work environment, providing guidance and coaching to drive individual and team performance.

Sales and Performance: Work with the Director of Operations to analyze sales data, identify trends, and take proactive measures to optimize revenue generation. Set challenging but achievable targets for the teams and track their progress. Collaborate with the team to create compelling specials and to enhance the customer experience, maintain relevance and drive sales.

Customer Experience: Champion a customer-centric culture across both stores. Ensure that all customers receive a welcoming and personalized experience, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain their expectations and the Wax Paper way.

Inventory Management: Oversee inventory to maintain optimal stock levels. Work closely with the Director of Operations to manage restocking and stock movement between the two locations.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with employees and management. Provide regular updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of your teams. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and growth within the stores.

Preferred Requirements:

– Previous management experience, preferably with experience in multi-store management.

– Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.

– Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently manage two locations.

– A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

– Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.

– Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices.

– Willingness to travel between the two store locations on a regular basis.

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and demands.

– A passion for the industry.

– BOH and FOH experience is a plus!
