Store Manager

We are a growing fabric wholesaler in the Los Angeles area and have recently opened a fabric retail store adjacent to our warehouse and are in need of a responsible individual to run the store. We sell an assortment of flat fold fabrics at great discounted prices. Our store location is not in the fashion district but we are close and want to market our store to that larger customer base.

Daily responsibilities:
– Open and set up the store
– Maintain and organize the store, by merchandising and keeping the store looking as attractive as possible.
– Assist customers with purchases and answer any fabric related questions
– Attend to social media accounts, i.e: Facebook and Instagram. It is crucial that we market the store on social media, and proper and effective content is key.
– Answer emails and any questions that come in via social media
– Develop effective marketing strategies for the shop
– Maintain fabric quantities and replenish with new fabrics as necessary. All of the fabric sold in the retail shop comes from our warehouse and communication is very important in order to keep the shop updated with new fabric.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 1 year experience within a retail setting, management preferred.
– Basic word/ excel programs
– Some photo editing skills
– Excellent written and communication skills
– An eye for merchandising an styling both images and actual store.
– MUST have Knowledge of Textiles and/ or Fashion.
– Bilingual: fluent in both English and Spanish

We are really excited to grow our retail store and need the right person to help take our business to the next level.

The right candidate must be available to work Monday- Friday 10:00am- 4pm and Saturday’s 9am-2pm.

Compensation:
$11.00/ hourly
room for pay increase with sales driven results.
