Continuous Improvement Consultant

The Continuous Improvement Consultant plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives.

Develops metrics that provide data for process and/or service measurement.

Collects and analyzes data to identify root cause of problems.

Measures performance against process requirements.

Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.

Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance, product and service quality.

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience to assess best practices for techniques and processes.

Performs cost and benefit analyses.Certification as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, or comparable certification.Typically requires BA/BS
– or equivalent in education and experience.Typically requires a minimum of 2 years relative experience.Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broader capabilities.Shingo Alumni, or experience with Shingo Model and Principles.Exceptional change leadership and people/relationship skills.Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.Excellent documentation / deck-building skills.The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.Experience creating detailed reports and presenting to management.A track record of following through on commitments.Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
