The location Shift Supervisor assists in maintaining the overall quality of the restaurant. From food standards to customer service, they assist in maintaining all processes and procedures for Eggslut. They must assist and communicate with management as needed. Overall, their job is to help ensure that all Eggslut staff is working properly for efficient service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to speak, see, hear, read, and write – mobility and manual dexterity

The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction

The ability to bend, crouch, stand, and perform movement for up to 8-10 hours a day

The ability to lift heavy items (20+ lbs)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Assist in managing all staff within the location; keep order and lead by example and ensure that all staff is working efficiently

Ensure daily responsibilities are completed and expectations are met
-
Assist and follow up on store training & development
-
Perform and maintain operational procedures, policies and standards (document/communicate issues and hold staff accountable)
-
Assist in maintaining a profitable operation by managing controllable costs (labor and cost of goods)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Assist in create work schedules and assist with payroll (verify clock-in/out times and adjusting/clarifying discrepancies every pay period)
-
Assist orders for paper goods, produce, meat, bread, dairy and any other necessary items (adjust pars for all orders as needed while managing proper inventory)
-
Assist in managing cash handling & POS systems (noting discrepancies/managing discounts and refunds/bank deposits/petty cash, etc.)

Assist to hire and discharge staff (post ads, conduct interviews, train, handle terminations, etc.)
-
When needed, display ability to efficiently work all designated stations and/or delegate the work as stated in the Station Handbook

Assist in maintenance issues (reaching out/following up with repairs, etc.)
-
Perform administrative work (send emails, verify scan and upload invoices, etc.)
-
Assure the highest standards for product quality, standard adherence and unit performance are upheld (maintaining proper food handling and presentation, customer satisfaction, reasonable ticket times)

Maintain high guest satisfaction and manage customer complaints (address mistakes, emphasize quality of service for guest retention)

Stand in for Store Manager on days off/when unavailable
