Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Lending.

Reporting to the CEO, this person will be responsible for delivering outstanding member products and services, while managing risk, by defining a consultative strategy and managing the performance of the credit union’s portfolio, including mortgage loans, business services, member insurance products, and asset recovery.

Typical Responsibilities:

Establish and lead the strategy, direction, objectives, and operations for the lending organization.
Participating in strategic planning meetings to define the short
– and long-term growth of FFCU and defining the strategy, direction, and objectives for the lending organization.
Train, coach, supervise, and performance manage lending leaders and team members.
Building awareness and understanding of lending and loss prevention strategies, activities, and compliance requirements.

Developing annual business plans, budgets, and goals for each unit.

Continually improve our lending products and services, and optimize processes and systems throughout the lending organization

Lead the research and implementation of new lending systems, products and services to meet member needs with a strong focus on net income, growth, and legendary service.
Analyze market and economic trends to prepare budget forecasts for the portfolio.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Registered in the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
Minimum 10 years’ experience leading and managing teams at a credit union or bank.
Experience driving continuous improvement across products, services, processes, systems and technology using key metrics to analyze objective and subjective measures of efficiency, effectiveness, and quality to inform decisions.
Experience designing and implementing solutions to increase member, customer, client satisfaction, and/or market growth.
