Senior Vice President of Global Sales

This role will be accountable for all aspects of our Sales team across all Global Regions. The individual will direct the sales strategy of the organization’s products and services on a worldwide basis. Develops the company’s long-range sales strategy and forecasts sales volumes for the global organization. This role will have a critical impact on the company’s success and will report directly to the CEO. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue and a deep understanding of go to market strategies and opportunities, building business cases, prioritizing and presenting findings to leadership, and executing strategic projects to enable growth.

This role will require the ability to build and develop a world class sales organization and implement processes to deliver results quickly. This role calls for an executive who can thrive in a results and performance-based culture and who can win partners with an exceptional combination of strategic understanding, personality, drive, persistence, and execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and develop a world class sales organization by identifying, training and implementing best practices that improve the team’s performance while maintaining our culture and values. 
  • Influence, collaborate and work with cross-functional leaders, departments, and teams to develop and execute successful strategies. 
  • Delivery of financial results, while effectively managing all levers of the P&L with oversight of key metrics and performance drivers (revenue, profit, operating expense management and targeted market shares and category leading positions).
  • Drive continuous improvement by learning from ROI analysis and key performance indicators.
  • Define and evangelizes the market strategy and sales philosophy.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and ownership of each account P&L.
  • Approve and help negotiate sales contracts, special bid pricing. Manage pricing structure, strategy and resolve channel price conflicts.
  • Coach, grow and develop employees on a regular basis to build a dynamic sales organization.
  • Support all company diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a diverse workplace to mirror our global customers and communities.
  • Fully support all company guidelines, policies, systems and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, high performing and engaged workforce.
  • A proven track record in change management, driving ecommerce, market share and building a sell through engine in accounts.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Business Administration with sales and marketing focus, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 15 or more years sales management experience, preferably in a global setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Background in technology, cell phone peripheral and consumer electronics.
  • Experience in price, promotion, marketing strategies from different sales channels.
