What You’ll Do as a Senior Supply Chain Consultant
As a Senior Supply Chain Consultant at Clarkston you will:
– Work closely with clients in the industry in streamlining and combining people, processes, technology, and controls to improve operational effectiveness, lower costs, reduce redundancy, and lower risks
– Focus on physical operations and supply chain management improvements including manufacturing, distribution, logistics, procurement, sourcing, and inventory management
– Translate business processes into functional requirements.
This may include recommendations on leveraging current technologies and assessing software vendors based on organizational needs
– Share best practices, industry knowledge, and personal expertise to educate both clients and fellow consultants, in formal and ad hoc settings
– Assist in the creation and management of project plans and timelines, define project deliverables, identify and track issues and their resolution, and help to manage project scope and requirements
– Earn trusted client status and develop relationships that extend beyond the project’s lifecycle
– Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices
– Provide guidance to junior analysts and client personnel assigned to projects

What We’re Looking for in a Senior Supply Chain Consultant
An ideal candidate as a Senior Supply Chain Consultant would have gained leadership experience in one or more of the following:
– Experience in demand planning, forecasting and supply planning
– Experience in Integrated Business Planning, Sales & Operations Planning
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline
– A minimum of five (5) years relevant professional supply chain consulting or equivalent industry experience
– SAP IBP implementation experience in the life science or consumer product space

– Experience as business super user as an implementation team member is required
–
– Experience as a functional lead is desirable
– Formal training and experience with Lean Sigma are desirable
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 50-75% and may vary based upon client and project needs.
While travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19 restrictions, all non-essential travel has been limited and any on-site requests are subject to review.
