This role will be based in Dublin, Ohio; candidates in the greater Columbus area will be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform complex Consultancy/Managed Services assignments.

Perform systems tuning and diagnostics on UNIX, LINUX and WINDOWS platforms as it relates to Axway products and Storage, Network, Database, and Firewall configurations.

Participate as a technical expert of several technologies or software packages in a complex project of software implementation or systems integration.

Manage client expectations and have the ability to ensure high satisfaction of the client and perform complex consultancy assignments.

Manage large to small projects comprised of complex tasks as assigned by project manager responsible for project completion.

Architect and design web based B2B/MFT systems, multi-tier architectures and database management Analyze and execute significant infrastructure updates and product upgrades Participate in on-call support rotation (1 week per month) for customer support needs outside of core business hours.

Key Competencies
Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to influence and negotiate outside of a reporting relationship.

Needs to have a good ability to manage client expectation and have the ability to ensure high satisfaction of the client.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.

A proactive service attitude that can look beyond a strict process/priority matrix.

Qualifications
Experience Needed
5+ years of experience in software industry with functional and technical consulting experience in a wide range of business areas of supply chain management including system development, business intelligence, business processes and customer relations.

EAI, middleware, or other integration experience at the enterprise level Experience with fortune 500 enterprise customer projects BS in Business, Engineering or Computer Science and graduate degree preferred.

Technical Skills
Proficiency with UNIX.

LINUX and Windows platforms.

Proficiency with shell and JAVA scripting Proficiency with database systems (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL, and/or Sybase) Proficiency with B2B and Monitoring solutions Familiarity with network connectivity and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, MQ etc..) Familiarity with MBC, JMC and inline Java Processor Proficiency with XML and EDI (ANSI X12/EDIFACT) Experience with Rosetta-Net and ebXML industry standards Axway is an AA andEEO Employer
