About the HUB Risk Services Division
Our consultants are board-certified and professionals with experience in a variety of industries and disciplines.

Located throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, our team has the proven knowledge and experience to assist our clients in identifying current and potential risks and implementing controls to reduce their exposure to loss.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Risk Consultant will develop and implement safety, regulatory and best practice risk reduction programs for our clients.

The primary responsibilities include:
Provide a high level of service to clients throughout Washington and the western U.S.

as required.
Consult with clients to understand client company culture, identify needs, and formulate objectives
Develop custom solutions and advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation and safety management strategies that comply with insurance company policy
Develop and conduct management and employee training programs
Implement programs using generally accepted project management and consulting practices
Conduct management and employee training sessions for clients as needed
Conduct loss analysis & trending to identify client focus areas
Perform audits/assessments at client sites, and make recommendations for remediation
Develop and submit clear, concise, and timely reports/correspondence documenting all activities
Develop/manage relationships with insurance carriers, vendor partners, and key clients
Provide support to sales, service, and fellow Risk Services Division team members
Contribute to special projects and industry vertical teams
Required Experience
Key Requirements:
Five (5) or more years’ experience as a safety/risk/loss control consultant or technician in the insurance broker or carrier environments, or as a safety/risk manager in industry
Experience working with Tribal/Native American enterprises is preferred
Familiarity with Tribal Sovereignty, and Reservation Jurisdiction is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, or related discipline
Completion of (or progress towards) professional designations is desirable
Strong knowledge of federal and state OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Office suite and video conferencing solutions
Proficient with spreadsheet analysis, report writing, and presentation development
High degree of self-motivation and discipline
Ability to travel and work beyond normally scheduled workweek as necessary
