Senior Marketing Manager

Doe is looking for a Marketing Manager to join a fast-growing DTC beauty brand.

We focus on creating comfortable eye products that can be worn all day.

We’re expressive, fun, and convey this through every touchpoint we have with our customers.

This growth and eCommerce role will help plan, implement, and drive a growth-focused digital roadmap.

This person will be accountable for developing and maintaining directional alignment towards the roadmap across brand, product, marketing, sales, and operation functions at Doe.

The qualified candidate will be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with tactical execution at a fast-growing startup.

The position is responsible for the day-to-day activity on the site and its overall performance to achieve goals such as improving user experience, increasing website traffic and sales, and developing brand loyalty.

Role title depends on experience.

Who We Need

Role: Senior Marketing Manager // Head of Growth & eCommerce

Reports to: CEO

Responsibilities:
Analyze current ecommerce reality across all channels and customer types, define growth-focused vision, develop roadmap, deliver increased revenue and brand awareness Meet regularly with peers and stakeholders across other functions (Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment and collaborate towards shared goals Manage all external marketing vendors and agency relationships Lead creation of performance-based creative, landing pages, on-site tests and experiments, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), and checkout experience Inform, influence and contribute to the strategic vision for the company from a growth marketing lens Evaluate emerging technologies, apps, and hacks to build brand awareness and conversion.

Lead and execute strategy of all acquisition and retention efforts: Paid media, programmatic, influencer etc Identify, implement and revise internal processes to streamline the improvement of e-commerce operations Troubleshoot the customer experience across all digitally enabled channels, including website issues Champion for continued UX considerations around our e-commerce channel and digital developments Manage web content and analytics to improve efficiency and performance.

Updates and maintains the Ecommerce product catalog and ensures that it functions within Shopify variant limits and displays as intended.

Develop, monitor, write, and update product categories and takes ownership of daily administration.

Monitor website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to promotions, and site updates Work with Marketing teams to keep and meet promotion calendar dates, tracks all e-commerce efforts, analyzes data, and uses data to improve strategies

What we’re looking for
3+ years of relevant, generalist experience in ecommerce, especially in scaling Shopify-based brands Extensive experience in direct response marketing and multi-channel execution Extensive experience in retention and lifecycle marketing, with, ideally, experience with subscription businesses Ability to work harmoniously with creative, product, and brand marketing teams.

Committed to learning and expanding technical knowledge of growth marketing Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills including ability to use data and metrics to develop business cases and inform decision-making Ability to think outside the box and creatively Open minded, ready to learn, willing to teach others within the org about ecommerce and growth marketing

Good to have: Understands creative needs for acquisition channels and being able to communicate those needs to our designer
