Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader for the Senior Manager, Program Management position located in El Segundo, CA.Reporting to the Director of National Programs, this role will serve as the senior program manager accountable for multiple cross-discipline Integrate product teams (IPT).

This role will be responsible for all the program execution, delivery on cost and schedule commitments, and technical management of products from the development, integration, test and delivery of a collection of activities within Proprietary Programs.

Products cover Platform Mechanical Items such as Structures, Propulsion, Solar Arrays, Batteries and Harnesses.The position requires exceptional program management skills in order to successfully interact with program manager level counterparts from multiple government agencies who represent the customer program office, subcontractors, user groups, and interested parties, including government oversight contractors.Position Responsibilities* Responsible for customer satisfaction, mission success, program execution and performance against company financial objectives.* Accountable for the development and vetting of customer requested Task Orders and ECPs.* Accountable for developing, socializing, and implementing Boeing positions for Boeing and subcontractor programmatic (cost, schedule, and technical) issues across the broad spectrum of interested customer parties.* Develops strong customer relationships with senior government officials, driving performance improvement through the application of Lean principles and program management best practices.* Manages Boeing produced products and large subcontractors.* Negotiates with and recommends award fee for numerous small and large subcontractors; coordinates program staffing needs with Boeing Engineering Capabilities and functions.* Leads Space Flight Programs that require close coordination with a variety of demanding U.S.

government customers (e.g.

NASA, AF, etc.)This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S.

Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S.

Citizenship Required).

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):* Bachelor degree or higher* 5+ years of experience on space programsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):* 5+ years of experience working with Systems Thinking* 5+ years of experience developing/maintaining team schedules, resource management, earned value management, risk management, and project management* 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and partnersTypical Education/Experience:Typical education and experience described in our standard level guides are aligned to the type and number of years of experience/education required to perform the job in industry.
